My husband’s grandmother just passed away earlier today. She had been sick for a long time and I’m glad that her suffering is now over. Please pray for the repose of her soul and also for our family in this difficult time. We will be traveling to Knoxville next Wednesday and Thursday for her funeral (its so late because they have to transfer her body from Louisville).

Also, please pray from my husband. He is very emotional and I know obviously he is quite upset. He says he made his peace with it at Christmas and Thanksgiving last year since that was the last time he saw her but I know he is still hurting.

Thanks for all your prayers.

Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful.
John 14:27

For the peace of those exiting this realm, that they may be handled gently by the arm of the LORD.

For the courage of those who live in this world, to have hope in the advent of our Lord Jesus Christ.

All glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be: world without end. Amen.

Grandparents can be such very special people. What church will the funeral be in? I live in Knoxville and will say an extra prayer for her and for your family.

Praying for your intentions:

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

God Bless
In Jesus through Mary

Praying for your husband! My grandparents are 99 and 100, and I know I will be very sad and emotional also, as they are very special to me.

God Bless.

She was Methodist so it will be at Macedonia United Methodist Church off Asheville Hwy (I think that’s where it is…)

Thank you all for your prayers during this time.

Praying for the memory of your husband’s grandmother, and for hope for all your family.

Incline Thine ear, O Lord, unto our prayers,
wherein we humbly pray Thee
to show Thy mercy upon the soul of Thy servant, whom Thou hast commanded to pass out of this world,
that Thou wouldst place him in the region of peace and light,
and bid her be partaker with Thy Saints.
Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Praying for your husbands grandmother and you and your husband and your family.

May this soul and the souls of all the faithfully departed, rest in peace Amen

It is quite understandable for you and your husband to grieve. What can prepare for such a thing?

Heavenly Father, be a blessing unto Kristy and her husband and family in this time of grieving. Fill the painful void left in their hearts over the loss of their grandmother. Embrace her soul into your eternal heavenly banquet. And comfort all of your grieving children on this and all nights. Amen. :signofcross:

I join in this beautiful prayer. :gopray:

May her soul and all souls through God’s Loving Mercy ever rest in His Peace…Keeping those who grieve her in prayer too and especially the family and your husband…
