I have not long had the all-clear from my breast cancer, though I do still face going for regular scans and again waiting for results. But now, my husband has developed very worrying symptoms. He took a few days off work but now manages to go in with the help of pain killers. He has an appointment for an MRI scan in a couple of days.
This is all worrying me sick, far more than my own breast cancer diagnosis did, which came just over a year ago. Our financial situation is precarious and I have to keep going in to my work (supporting people with learning disabilites) through all this; I am in casual not contracted work so if I don’t go in I don’t get paid. It’s incredibly stressful.
If you can kindly spare some prayers for us, above all for my husband’s health, I would so much appreciate it.
