We are all at some point or another, not in communion with the Church.
You’d better ascertain whether or not they are sedevacantists or not before you go making assumptions. Many “traditional” Catholics are still loyal sons and daughters of the Church and have not abandoned it.Wow and there I thought for a moment that there were no members in this forum who are of similar belief as me. I am happily mistaken.
pax vobiscum look2thyheart and
and thank you for being so charitable psalter.
Because to be Catholic is to be in union with the Holy Father, not a hypothetical idea of a theoretical Pope. Since all Catholics know who the Pope is here, those not in union with him are not Catholic. Fred Phelps called himself Baptist. David Koresh and Jim Jones were Christian. The label one wants to use with themselves does not change the objective reality.Actually sedevacantists are both traditional and Catholic–why would you say they are not?
“Kind?” Really? How would you define kind? Is it a kindness to allow someone in error to lead others into error? What if that error leads to hell? Are we being kind if we allow that to happen?I never assumed that they were sede vacantists. I only noticed that their comments were kind.
