Anybody know of any good Catholic hymnals with no music notation? My mother has a hard time following the lyrics in the hymnals that my parish provides (Gather by GIA Publications). She’s been asking me for a lyrics-only hymnal for a long time now!

Any ideas?

Missallettes have only the words, but they might not ever have the songs selected for a weekend at your parish.

The only churches I know that has no musical
notation for their songs is the Salvation Army
and the brethren church.
That said, my charismatic prayer and praise
group that meet weekly has song books which
are lyrics only.

Get in touch with your choir director, maybe they know of such a hymnal that would complement the one you already use at Mass.
