Hymns for a memorial service for babies

Babies lost through miscarriage, stillbirth and neonatal death.

Any idea for hymns at a memorial service?

(Anglican but open to all suggestions)

John Bell has a collection of songs for use in times of consolation. There is a song for use at the funeral of a baby or young child. I can’t recall the title. I think GIA publishes it.

That good old Evangelical Lutheran standard, Children of the Heavenly Father. It is too often used at Lutheran funerals of children.

Hi people…

I’m now thinking of singing Pie Jesu, but can’t decide whether or not to use Andrew Lloyd Webber’s or Faures.

I am leaning towards Andrew Lloyd Webbers, because it’s much more of an innocent soaring sound.

I’m now thinking of singing Pie Jesu, but can’t decide whether or not to use Andrew Lloyd Webber’s or Faures.

I like both, but have a slight preference for the Faure. The Webber with its harmony needs two perfectly matched treble voices to do it justice, but if you can pull it off it will be beautiful.
