I LOVE all the short little charismatic catholic praise hymns:
Such as these hymns:

Praise Him
How Great is Our God
Give Me Joy in My Heart
Peace is Flowing Like a River
His Banner over me is Love
In the Name of Jesus
From the Rising of the Sun
You’re the Temple of the Holy One
Seek yee first the Kingdom of God
Let the Power of the Lord Come on Down
Come now is the Time to Worship
I will enter His Gates
These are the Days of Elijah
And the Father Will Dance
Walk in the Light

(Maybe you could youtube or google these ☺️

Michael W Smith has a load of AWESOME hymns, that are just one chorus repeated, (which might be perfect for use with a children’s choir)

Wow.

What Religious Ed curriculum are you using? The USCCB approved books explain things at the proper age level for your class, stick to those resources!

We aren’t it’s a very very very small class no resource except what I use and this is summer so it’s not technically religious ed yet

Call the Religious Ed office at the Diocese, they have approved materials for such small groups.

Oh and please strike “Amazing Grace” from the list, unless you get rid of the “saved a wretch like me” lyric.
Don’t need that kind of self definition for a small child. Maybe change the lyric to “saved and set me free.”
That would work.
The Canadian hymnal Catholic Book of Worship III has “that saved and strengthened me” instead.
