I always hear that in order for God to work you need faith what if I have no more faith and struggle with trusting God it seems more is added to my trails everyday .Will I go to hell I want to belive and trust so much I just find it so hard will God not answer my prayers. I have two days that I have this anger towards God what can I do I pray for peace in my heart and mind but it never comes has God abondened me?

So this disappointment occurs when a person has decided what form God’s response to a prayer should be, before it happens.

How do I start to trust there is nothing more that I want then to feel loved by God.

For myself it is something a little bit like when I was a child and telling my parents what really worried me,and leaving it with them, knowing they had my best interest at heart ,loved me and would do what they could.Jesus understands us completely and now when I have so much trouble it is almost a physical thing getting past that ache of stress and worry and giving it over to Him.Very hard to do a lot of the time but when I do and accompany it with a lot of prayers and really taking in the mass…then the relief is huge. There’s a real peace sets in and I feel that closeness to God.
God bless,prayers for you.

God never abandons you.
You say, “I have heard for God to work…” The Bible tells us “God created the Heavens and the Earth.” (Genesis 1:1) Quite a bit of work there, don’t you think?
You want to feel God’s love and that is natural, but faith is not about feelings, it is about making a decision to believe in and trust in God. It is about counting your many blessings from Him and trying to be worthy of His love by showing your love to your family, friends, neighbors, and ick! even to not so nice people.
God does not always answer prayers the way we want Him to, but as a loving Father, He walks with us thru the hard times in life, giving us strength, courage, and patience.
He says, “Be still and know that I am God.” (Psalms 46:10) and Jesus tells us, “I am with you always, until the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:21) Let the Holy Spirit come into your heart.

I understand your concern; when life is hard it can feel like God doesn’t love us or like he is deaf to our cries. But thankfully there is evidence that these fears are ultimately unfounded, that our God is not a heartless overlord but a loving father.

No, you won’t go to Hell for having worries. You can’t control them or choose them. If God was that harsh then Mary and Enoch would be the only humans in Heaven.

There is a part in the Gospel about Jesus walking on water and Saint Peter fell into the water due to similar circumstances. Perhaps it is a good time to revisit that and you may find that Jesus is all understanding and all forgiving. Gods mercy is infinite as he gave his only son to die for our sins, that is an example that he is FOR you and NOT against you. Change the water with hell and Saint Peter with youself, based on that story our lord gave us 2,000+ years ago… was that for YOU to find peace in him? It is for me.

Pray to God and ask Him to please help you to trust in Him. Something really simple like “Dear God, I want to feel Your love. Please give me your grace and help me to trust You.”

I’d also recommend that you frequently make the invocation to the Divine Mercy, “Jesus, I Trust In You”. Saying invocations frequently (at least daily, or every time you start to feel a lack of trust) helps them to take root in your mind, like “positive thinking” affirmations.

Faith Hope and Charity are already infused during Baptism, in small proportions,it’s your duty is to nurture it and strengthen it ,so you do have Faith, it’s just that, your demanding things, your way and your time,God knows what is good for you and what is bad,he will provide things even more than expect, at the appointed time.Hope you know the song “there’s a time” .If your angry with God you need to ask pardon and confess them. There are two conditions before we ask anything from God,that is, before you stand in prayer we shouldn’t harbor any anger or ill will towards anyone, second we,have to forgive.

Finally ask what is good for you especially spiritual virtues to come close to Jesus and make him his own by building a personal relationship with him Mathew 6:33, finally, ask your hearts desires, petitions am sure he will provide even more than your can imagine,so don’t get discouraged, when he delays or you don’t get it persevere and prayer contentiously with child like faith and trust ,after all hes’s your best friend! .God Bless

Think about the Divine Mercy picture posted by Tis Bearself - why would Jesus insist on the words “Jesus, I trust in you” being included. It seems to me that Jesus knows that we still have problems with trust. But then again, didn’t St Peter have a few lapses, such as walking on water (or rather sinking), plus there were a number of other incidents with apostles and disciples. What did Jesus do? He forgave them and helped them.

When I pray, I often say “Father, Jesus and Holy Spirit I trust in you” simply because so often I have discovered how little I really do trust. I just figure that the most important thing is to keep trying because at the end of my days, I will be reliant on God’s loving mercy. Between now and then, I pray that I will never stop trying to be the child God created me to be.
