I’m going to try and talk to my parents about Alfie Evans

For too long I have been sort of hiding my socio-political views from my parents. I’m now going to try and open up more about them in the wake of the Alfie Evans tragedy, I’m collect all the news articles I can on it, using sources that the least likely to be dismissed as “right-wing.”

Please pray for me that I do this right.

Beginning with such an emotionally charged public case, where we are not privvy to all of the facts, is not the best idea.

Ok, what exactly is it you would like to share with your parents. Identify that.

Start simple.

Might be best not to start with political issues.

Start small.

Opening up is a great idea. Tell them you love them

Discussion is good. Debate is not good.
