I’m losing my faith I often feel like I’m talking to my self when I pray , does/did anyone else feel this way I want to believe that there is life aft

I felt that way, I became an agnostic. There is no evidence God exists so if you’re gonna believe it’s gonna be a battle
 
I haven’t read all the comments, so please excuse me is someone has already mentioned this, but we have something called recollection: when we re-collect ourselves to remember that God is right there with us. This can be done just by saying a quick prayer like: Jesus, I love You, or Lord, have mercy on me , a sinner. (These are two quick prayers among the many called aspirations.)

The problem is that we are human. do you know if you go to the bottom of a well, you could see stars? We can’t see them during the day because the sun blocks them out.

Now, our sun is very, very small compared to most of those stars, but it blocks them out because it is close. In the same way, earthly things capture our attention and “block out” God because they are close. That is why we need to recollect ourselves.

Look up “Catholic aspirations” or Catholic Catholic recollection" (no quotes) to find oht more: there’s so much that I couldn’t choose!
