Please pray for me and the 11 other candidates and postulants in the St. Joseph Province of the OFM Caps. We had a wonderful weekend at St Bonavetures’ in Detroit this past weekend, Oct. 26-28. Pray for an increase in all vocations, and for our religious leaders! Also, pray for Father Solanus Casey’s Beatification. He was a truly spiritual man who served at St. Bon’s and in New York and many healings have been reported to have come from his prayers. Thanks in advance to Christ, and to all who pray for these intentions!

Lord of the Powers be with us, for in times of joy and distress we have no other help but You.
Lord of the Powers, have mercy on us.

Father, I’m praying for Brother Dan
and the 11 other candidates.
Father, I thank you for all those
who have taken up a vocation in your
church. Father, you call all who believe in you
to grow perfect in love by following in the
footsteps of Christ you Son.
May those whom you have chosen to serve you as religious provide by their way of life
a convincing sign of your kingdom
for the Church and the whole world.
AMEN

I am always praying for all who are thinking of vocations, those who are seminarians, etc and priests in the perpetual prayer for priests/seminarians/vocations/nuns/etc. May God bless you and protect your pearl of great price!🙂

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

God Bless
In Jesus through Mary
Steve

Praying…
O God, I adore You. I give myself to You.
May I be the person You want me to be,
and may Your will be done in my life today.

I thank You for the gifts You gave to Father Solanus.
If it is Your Will, bless us with the beatification of
Venerable Solanus so that others may imitate
and carry on his love for all the poor and suffering of our world.

As he joyfully accepted Your divine plans,
I ask You, according to Your Will,
to hear my prayer for brother Dan and his 11 companions,
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

“Blessed be God in all His designs.”

Prayers for all y’all, and more prayers to and for Venerable Solanus Casey :crossrc:

I have placed your petitions within my heart and will carry them with me to Mass and I will remember your petitions in my daily prayers. One of my treasures is a “My Mother, My Confidence” leaflet that Fr. Solanus Casey sent to my mom with a note written on the inside of the leaflet. 🙂

Thank you maggieodae! However, I have a correction to make- as of now, anyhoo, there are 13 of us candidates and Postulants. I was forgetting the two who didn’t make the weekend. [No, I do NOT think there are any Judases in the fold…] All the guys actually are real class acts. One young man actually works in a Church in a costodial capacity! We had a truly blessed and wonderful weekend in Det. and also visited a retreat house in Washington,MI that was really quite breathtaking, that is run by the Caps as well.

Thanks again, and may the Poor Humble Christ be with you and all who are praying for our group!!:clapping: :gopray:

Much obliged! The prayers for vocations is a most important one in these times especially. Thank You!!:o :o And the price is not so great when I think of all the poor and addicted Souls I will hopefully be able to bring into the Kingdome, eh?👍

Hmm… I have an Aunt and a few Cousins in Bowmanville,ONT. [near Toronto]. Wonder if you are nearby…

Down-under? :dts: Hmph. We’re actually the ones on top of the world don’tcha know 😉

Honoured to meet a relative of our home-grown Blessed (of course the overwhelming Scottish ancestry doesn’t make her any less a dinky-di Aussie).

You a MacKillop as well by any chance? I notice a ‘mac’ in your username. But she has been a Blessed (may she be sainted soon :gopray2: ) for 12 years now - ain’t no new title unless she’s been elevated to sainthood when I wasn’t looking or something 🤷

I live just over half an hour away from the convent in North Sydney where she’s buried, but to my shame haven’t had the chance to visit. I will soon though!
