Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen

I don’t know if anyone has visited here at al, but just to let anyone who DOES find this TINY thread, I am now a Postulant at St. Conrad Friary in Milwaukee. Check my profile here, or go to capuchinfranciscans.org to find out more about the St. Joseph Province of Capuchins.
THANK YOU!!:D

Well, thanks to all who have posted support for an has prayed for me!

I am still doing well here at St. conrad’s.

Again, as stated above, you may check us out any time at our URL.

God Bless!🙂

Well, as to your first statement, I guess “on top” is a matter of perspective, aye?

Secondly, unfortunately I was not blessed with the same surname as my distant relative. I am a MacDonald, though, and that is a blessed thing as well.My dad knows more on the family tree, but I trust him, since his brother[God rest him]traced our family history back about eighteen-hundred years…
Thought it was more recent, her Beatification. Anyhoo, there is a very thin line of difference between Blessed and Saint. It is only in whether the person is worthy of local or worldwide recognition, as I know of it.

Well, take care, and thanks again for your prayers.👍
Her mother’s family were MacDonalds. My Dad has done research regarding the MacDonald clans. I’m also related to Mary through her mother. Mary’s a distant cousin.

Which is beside the point. God bless you and your fellow seminarians. God be with you throughout

Way cool, Trish!
Hey, I hate to cut this thread short, but I aked Catherine Grant to close this thread, since the title Capuchin Candidate doesn’t apply anymore*. *

BUT…you can chat with me on the thread I just started- “St. Francis Coffe House 3”, or Tiber Swim Team 09’.

See ya around!

God’s blessings are surely shining down you as you are now a Postulant !!!

My prayers are for you and your classmates. I pray every day for more FRANCISCAN vocations. You are truly blest by HIS calling and given an extra special gift to have chosen the Fanciscan order.

Franciscans have a wonderful way of not only sharing Christ’s teachings but by their very example of His word.

I was taught in a Franciscan parish and I know I was blest.
Make St. Francis proud. Pax et bonum

PAX ET BONUM back at you! 🙂 And, I know I TRULY am blessed here…
Thanks for the prayers, and may the POOR AND HUMBLE CHRIST be with you always! [This was Francis’ favorite term for Jesus, and speaks of his unique brand of spirituality]

Well since people are posting here again, maybe the ‘poor and humble’ can use it after all, and we’ll keep it open a while longer, as long as folks don’t try to rob me of my humility too much…

Prayers promised. Also, I was privileged to meet a contemporary of Fr Solinas Casey this past year at a clergy function. He is presently in his 90’s. We sat together at table. He was most interesting and a strong devotee of Fr Solinas.
Prayers & blessings

FYI to all:

I am no longer with the Caps, as of Feb.2nd.

Thanks for your prayers,as I am certain I have a vocation in the religious life still, but apparently not with the capuchins, at least not right now. :o

I would be grateful for any prayers any of you who might stumble upon this thread can ask of God.:gopray2:

Thanks again, and GOD BLESS YOU!

***The
Anima
Christi

Soul of Christ, sanctify me
Body of Christ, save me
Blood of Christ, inebriate me
Water from Christ’s side, wash me
Passion of Christ, strengthen me
O good Jesus, hear me
Within Thy wounds hide me
Suffer me not to be separated from Thee
From the malicious enemy defend me
In the hour of my death call me
And bid me come unto Thee
That I may praise Thee with Thy saints
and with Thy angels
Forever and ever
Amen ***
