I am a doctor suffering from burnout

Well I guess I’m one of the 50% of physicians suffering from burnout in America. I’ve been a doctor for over a decade and am good at what I do.

Please pray for my novena intentions which end tomorrow and for me to find a better job, in or out of medicine.

Please pray for my wife and family as well.

Dear Jesus, Heavenly Physician, I ask in Your name to help and guide this doctor who is going through a bad patch.

Holy Mary, St. Joseph, St. Luke, St. Raphael, St. Giuseppe Moscati, Sts. Cosmas and Damian, and St. Anthony Mary Zaccaria please pray for this intention. Thank you. Amen.
 
Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

O Lady of Mental Peace,
Mother of Tranquility
and Mother of Hope,
look upon BlueKnight in this time
of weakness and unrest.

Teach her searching heart
to know that God’s Love
for her is unchanging and
unchangeable, and, that
true human love can only
begin and grow by touching
His Love.

Let your gentle Peace -
which this world cannot give
  • be always with her.
    And, help her to bring this

A Prayer to St. Luke the Apostle, for Our Family Doctor

Good Saint Luke, we are told that before you met our dear Lord and became a follower of His and a writer of His Gospel, you were a doctor. We beg you this day to bless and help and protect our doctor. Obtain for him/her the graces s/he most needs to do his/her work well and serve God generously. Help him/her to be strong and gentle, prudent and charitable, understanding and self-sacrificing. Give him/her great skill in the care of our bodies, so that, blessed with physical strength and health, we may more faithfully perform our daily tasks.

Help us all, good Saint Luke, to imitate very closely the life and virtues of our Blessed Mother Mary, about whom you wrote so beautifully, and of Him whom she bore into this world, Jesus Christ our Lord and our God, who lives and is King for ever and ever. Amen.

I completely understand, I am in a similar field where there is a lot of burn out. Praying for you to feel some relief. Praying for your much needed rejuvenation.
