Please pray for my forgiveness for hardheartness and inability to forgive easily. I have hurt many people in my inability to love and forgive easily those who have hurt me. I am a vile sinner. Please pray for the softening of my sinner’s heart, so that I may better keep the Lord’s commandment to love my enemies.
 
Prayer for Emotional Healing
Loving Father, I come before you with faith in your promise that whatever I ask for in your name you will grant to me if it is for the good of my soul and in accordance with your Divine Will. I come trusting in your great love for me and believing that only you know what is best for me. I come to you now to ask that you enter my heart and heal all my wounded emotions. You know me better than I know myself. Bring your healing love into every corner of my heart and release all the buried negative emotions inside that have not been resolved and continue to cause me pain and anguish. Remove all my unhealed hurts and painful memories that block the flow of your graces, robbing me of your peace, love and joy. Heal all feeling of sadness, loneliness, fear and anxiety. Heal all guilt, despair, feelings of betrayal and rejection. Heal all feelings of anger, hatred, resentment and bitterness.

Bring your healing love to all my emotions that have caused me feelings of hopelessness, discouragement, helplessness and despair. Grant me the grace to forgive all those who caused these negative emotions and likewise to be forgiven by those to whom I have done the same harm. And then, dear Father, after I have been healed may I be a witness of your healing power and bring glory, honor and praise to you. This I pray in Jesus’ name through Mary and all the saints.
Amen.Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless, and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us, that in difficult moments we might not despair nor become despondent , but with great confidence, submit ourselves to Your Holy Will, which is love and mercy itself. When forgiveness is difficult

In Jesus’ Name, Father,
help me to recover where injury goes beyond ordinary forgiveness and my hearts are in some way crushed, and my life changed and devalued. Help me to find a way to forgive when I cannot smile or encounter or remember the offending person with warmth because they have destroyed something in me.

Father please help me to forgive when I cannot forgive…and I cannot forgive because they do not understand how badly they have hurt me, and do not seek in any real way to acknowledge or try to heal the hurt they imposed on me. And even when I tried to tell them from the bottom of my heart but they would not listen, please help me to forgive.

Father help me to forgive when those who hurt my whole life do not even remember how badly they have wounded me, and go on/went on with their lives without concern, while I remain still held in some kind of time capsule with the consequences of their unfeeling and uncaring and attack.

Father, help me to forgive when those who wounded us by ignoring my needs and requests, yet who desire me to ignore their offense, and expect me to respond to their hints or manipulations while they make no concessions or apologies.

Help us to forgive those who impose their own conditions and rules upon me when I am unable to defend or protect myself, without respecting that my hurt is real and radical, while they make/made me feel that they only desire my capitulation without justice, apology, or generosity from them.

Help me to forgive where, in my life, I have humbly given apology for my own offense and the response is silence and rejection.

Help me to forgive and heal when I am obsessed and oppressed by our resentment and hurt.

Father please free us, free me, in forgiveness and healing that comes from Your Son, innocent, and murdered, but forgiving.

Appreciating others​

Jesus, I honour You for others goodness. Yet, help me to share Your compassion, respect and delight in those who seem (to themselves or others) to reflect Your face poorly. Grant me the gift of conveying to each person, the beautiful, glimpsed vision of self, as You love him or her, a fallible human with entwined faults and virtues.

One sometimes glimpses another’s discouraged self-judgement, for he fears that Your plan of salvation builds upon some unlikely ‘ideal self’. He perhaps hopes that to others, only the good is evident. He fears that were others to sense the extent of his unworthiness, they may reject him—as indeed he fears You may.

Jesus, please extend Your hand to him through those who see his efforts and who have faith in the secret, unique miracle of him. Let him know that You love him as he is, and that You plan his holiness around his actual self . You fulfil Your dream of him and serve others through his flawed personality with its abilities, gifts and virtues, along with its faults and scars. Assure him that his efforts to live the Gospel are more precious because of his temptations and flaws, so that he is encouraged to faith and self-acceptance.

God let me see and share Your beautiful, unique, creative vision of each brother and sister, regardless of ‘apparent’ flaws. In my warm acceptance of him grant to each person that restoring, blossoming fruitfulness of love—which the image of him cherished and accepted as he really is—produces in the most barren and bleak heart. 1982

Peace, Salibi! I prayed for you, and I have a humble suggestion. Please read Matthew chapters 5 & 6 every night, before you go to sleep, until you internalize it and “breathe” it. The Bible is GOD’s living word, it has the power to transform. Please show to GOD your sincere intent to be transformed, and it shall be done unto you. Our GOD is truly merciful.
 
Eternal Father, I offer you the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your Dearly Beloved Son, Our Lord, Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on Salibi. Lord, hear my prayer for his intentions and have mercy on the whole world. (x10)
