PS: I should add that I’m not in favour of being disrespectful to your parents; just that becoming an adult means deciding your own fate, in accordance with a sound Catholic moral code.

There’s no excuse for rudeness to, or abuse of parents. I read St. Padre Pio told a man who complained to him of a trouble (which I can’t recall), that it was God’s punishment because he had beaten his father with an iron bar.

Honour thy father and thy mother. God takes this commandment seriously.

Thank you all for your views and ideas

there was many good points made and a lot of good questions raised and answered. One person made a good point that we all must address in our daily lifes “whats catholic is catholic” and I also have a confession to make before I go on further with my point I on purpose left my explantion on why I feel I am a modern Traditionalist because I knew that people would assume that I meant as someone else mentioned in a Protestant like matter that is far far from the truth. Our life’s as Catholics and as Christians is centered on the sacrifice of our Lord on the alter something so important and indeed life changing that any other form then what it is lacks a lot. So when I get to being a modern traditionalist, what I truly mean is to show everything, leave nothing out. there was a time when the Catholic faith was given and there was not a question that was asked because people didn’t need to ask they felt and believed in their faith that time is over. Now the way we must instruct the faith and indeed as that great saint once said “Preach the gospel and when necessary use words” We must be ourselves we must teach our faith Traditionalist or otherwise by our lives more then our words and thats what I mean that I am a modern Traditionalist.

peace and All blessings
Mauro
