And too…

Muslims respect and revere Jesus (peace be upon him). They consider him one of the greatest of God’s messengers to mankind. The Quran confirms his virgin birth, and a chapter of the Quran is entitled ‘ Maryam ’ (Mary). The Quran describes the birth of Jesus as follows:

(Please Note: This uploaded content is no longer available.) (Remember) when the angels said, “O Mary, God gives you good news of a word from Him (God), whose name is the Messiah Jesus, son of Mary, revered in this world and the Hereafter, and one of those brought near (to God). He will speak to the people from his cradle and as a man, and he is of the righteous.” She said, “My Lord, how can I have a child when no mortal has touched me?” He said, “So (it will be). God creates what He wills. If He decrees a thing, He says to it only, ‘Be!’ and it is.” (Please Note: This uploaded content is no longer available.) (Quran, 3:45-47)

Jesus was born miraculously by the command of God, the same command that had brought Adam into being with neither a father nor a mother. God has said:

(Please Note: This uploaded content is no longer available.) The case of Jesus with God is like the case of Adam. He created him from dust, and then He said to him, “Be!” and he came into being. (Please Note: This uploaded content is no longer available.) (Quran, 3:59)

Ah but what are we arguing about? The difference of what we believe about Jesus and how we believe we attain salvation far surpasses any difference in translated words. As far as I understand, Muslims believe Jesus was a great teacher. Awesome! But how does one truly believe this if one does not believe His teaching?

Jesus was not created by dust, for He says, “Before Abraham was, I AM” ~John 8:58. He is God (John 10:30) and always existed (John 1:1) before wrapping himself in flesh from Mary’s womb (John 1:14) He says "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6) His death is the singular sacrifice by which He atoned for all sin and therefore we can enter Heaven. (Hebrews 10:14)

Peace be with you, @Mimar. No mere human can judge another, that is for God (Jesus 😉) alone. Your enthusiasm in studying God is wonderful and inspiring! I admit I do not know much about Muslim faith or the Quran. May God bless you and lead all people to the Truth.

I’m not arguing - just saying. That’s a decent comment.
Islamic Teachings on Jesus’ Incarnation mirror in manners that of the New Testament -
Their view on Jesus is akin to a 'Son of God"
What they know of His Teachings?
Yes… What do they know.
I’m never condemning anyone.
