I am completely without hope right now

I lost it in my class. I was already sleep-deprived, I sinned mortally after a huge angry talk with my mom last night (we reconciled afterwards in tears, but I have felt desolation and anxiety all day) and now, I snapped a pencil in anger in front of my students in when one of my students misbehaved. I didn’t premeditate it, I barely thought about it. My contract wasn’t renewed and everything is falling apart, and now I am probably going to get fired without the buffer time to find more work. I don’t know what’s going to happen to me and I am experiencing some of the worst desperation I’ve ever felt in my life. Suicide keeps jumping into my mind and I am feel completely undone. Please pray that God would have mercy on me and deliver me from this.
 
I talked to my spiritual director and my close friend. I’m out of that sort of thinking now. I thank you so much for your prayers, and I will call the hotline if it gets really bad again. Thank you so much. God bless you.
 
Yes remember that number. Consider seeking help from a doctor or counselor…Lord knows I have. Life is stressful. He is with you.
 
Prayer for Emotional Healing
Loving Father, I come before you with faith in your promise that whatever I ask for in your name you will grant to me if it is for the good of my soul and in accordance with your Divine Will. I come trusting in your great love for me and believing that only you know what is best for me. I come to you now to ask that you enter my heart and heal all my wounded emotions. You know me better than I know myself. Bring your healing love into every corner of my heart and release all the buried negative emotions inside that have not been resolved and continue to cause me pain and anguish. Remove all my unhealed hurts and painful memories that block the flow of your graces, robbing me of your peace, love and joy.

Heal all feeling of sadness, loneliness, fear and anxiety. Heal all guilt, despair, feelings of betrayal and rejection. Heal all feelings of anger, hatred, resentment and bitterness. Bring your healing love to all my emotions that have caused me feelings of hopelessness, discouragement, helplessness and despair. Grant me the grace to forgive all those who caused these negative emotions and likewise to be forgiven by those to whom I have done the same harm. And then, dear Father, after I have been healed may I be a witness of your healing power and bring glory, honor and praise to you. This I pray in Jesus’ name through Mary and all the saints.

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless, and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us, that in difficult moments we might not despair nor become despondent , but with great confidence, submit ourselves to Your Holy Will, which is love and mercy itself. I’m praying for you. May the Lord rescue you out of that suffering. If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it. Consider what the Lord said in Matthew 6:25-34, especially verse 26, which says “Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?”.

The Lord loves you and He doesn’t like to see His children suffering. Use your suffering as a reason to get closer to Him.
 
Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

You are under a great deal of stress and need to look after yourself inasmuch as you can.
And God can turn our failures around for the ultimate good. My prayers for you, your mother, the student, and for your future.

Contrition​

Loving Father, I have sinned against others, against myself, and against You. I am unworthy to be Your child. I have offended Your goodness and Your dream of who I really am. I may have denied You the joy of blessings that You wish for me and for others through me. You alone know the entire consequences of my failure. Yet Jesus assures us that You joyfully celebrate my return from sin, and run to welcome and reclaim me as Your own. Therefore, with Your grace, I want to value myself as Your child, knowing that all worth and holiness comes from You.

In trust, I will not accuse myself for sins already forgiven and absolved or for temptation if I have not actually sinned. I believe that temptation can be overcome by Your grace, inspiring greater faithfulness to the Gospel and the Sacraments.

Look on those tasks of love and service that I fail to undertake or to complete, and bring them to completion. Please bring out of my failures, such fruits of these new opportunities enhanced beyond all previous expectation, for from our human betrayal of Your divine plan of Creation, Your mercy wrought the magnificent plan of redemption that reverberates through time and eternity!

In Your mercy, please transform into good all that in weakness, in anxiety, or in ignorance I may spoil. Please give blessing that is abundant beyond original possibility, to anyone I ever harm or deprive. May I so belong to You, may I be so transformed by Your love, that my faults no longer are sin or offence in Your sight and can foster nothing that impedes Your will. This, my soul in trusting confidence implores.

My headmaster is giving me one final chance. Now my bitterness about is gone and I can serve this school with vigor as I search for other opportunities, even though I won’t be renewed for next year. I pray that I would never forget this sign of God’s glorious providence, because if this hadn’t happened I don’t know how I could have finished this semester, bogged down as I was with resentment and self pity. Thank you so much for your prayers. I intend to write all of this down as a shibboleth.
