Sanctus:
Yes it is the movie adaption of Anne Holm’s book…it also marks the third movie in which Jim Caviezel is beaten or killed:
  1. Count of Monte Cristo
  2. The Passion of the Christ
  3. I am David
and the second time in which his death in those movies is attributed to a character played by Hristo Shopov…#'s 2. and 3.

Anyway, I absolutly loved the movie.

I believe there was another one where he was killed, I forget the name but he played a soldier on trial.
 
I rented this movie a few months ago and boy, was it great! Highly recommneded. 👍
