I am devastated, please pray for me

Please pray for me. I used to have a bad problem with being pure with myself. I have since been able to break the addiction with the Lord’s help, and I made it almost 6 months without issue. Today I got distracted from the Lord, and I broke that streak. 😦 I can’t believe that I let myself slip after this long, even on Easter of all days. I am devastated. Please pray for me, God Bless.
 
Don’t be hard on yourself. We’re all human. That’s why we have confession. If we were perfect the confessional would always be empty. I know how you feel though. I have my own issues and just when I think I have control of them I blow it. Give all the control to God. We have no control in and of ourselves.
 
I too have had an issue like this having a good streak feeling good about not falling into my temptations and in an instant I again made the wrong decision and felt destroyed with guilt. One thing that helped me was accepting the forgiveness once you have confessed.
