I am due this Friday...need prayers

Good day to everyone!

I am due with our little Samuel Pio, our first baby this Friday and I have been really emotional and anxious these last weeks of pregnancy. I have not shown any signs of labor yet and its making me even more anxious just thinking of the need of getting induced then getting a c section because of it. I know this is one of the big things that I mostly have no control off and its kind of hard for me just to sit here and wait when and if labor happens.

I need prayers for healthy and safe delivery and for my emotional stability.

Prayer for Expectant Mothers

Saint Gerard, we honour you as the patron of expectant mothers because of
the miracle granted through your prayers for a woman in labour.
Through your intercession, protect all expectant mothers who the Lord has
entrusted with tiny, infant souls.
Bless them with health and fill them with love for the lives they carry.
Give them the courage to overcome the pain of childbirth, the strength to
heal from it and a constant faith to rear their children in the spirit of
Christ.

Will pray for peace of mind and a safe delivery.
I had 2 C-sections. Not real fun, but you still get a pretty baby!

May God allow you to produce your baby without having any surgery,and may both you and Samuel be healthy and happy .
Dearest Jesus I pray with this mother that you will allow the doctors to bring little S.P safely into this world at a time when you think it is best ,and that the medicines donot force
it unneccessarily .

To Mum ,it is normal and good that the child may come late ,as many of the best do,so no need to panic.🙂

I remember how I felt too with my first pregnancy as it got closer to the time of delivery. It is normal to feel anxious because you and your body are about to go through a new experience. Believe me, once you see little Samuel Pio it will all be worth it!!!
Praying that you will have a quick and safe delivery of a healthy baby boy!

I pray that Mother Mary would be interceding for you throughout your labor and delivery. I pray that your labor begins naturally, progresses normally, and that no C section is needed. I pray that you and your baby will both be healthy after the delivery. May St. Dymphna pray for you to have mental peace in the meantime. Amen. :signofcross:

I was induced with my second child, and actually preferred it over my first labor.

Be that as it may, my prayers for you contain all my love and hope for a lovely birth experience, ending with a beautiful little Samuel Pio. I love his name! God bless you.
