I have decided to read the scriptures (non Apocrypha) to look at the a scriptures. so far (including the Didache) I have seen the apostolic succession and icons and relics works in the bible and argue that the original church served as a functional and responsible system and agree that Christ gave the church not the scriptures and there is a strong connection with Tradition and the magistrate. The scripture were begotten and formed by the Tradition and Magistrate of the apostles. ( thus my development would be that the scriptures have to work with all (facilities of the church) for the scripture was what was past down by oral tradition and can be used to edify the church as something spiritually inspired (correct my use of the phrase if I am wrong) as a preaching of the Gospel, the Good news of Christ. The Position of Peter and Mary is Emphasis which proves that these were not to be dismissed compare more protestant denominations. Take note these book and letters were trying to talk to First century Christians.
The idea of using Logic over blind faith helps me grow in the faith as I am thinking about it all. Though I had never really put much thought about it unless I felt I needed to. Reading a little bit of Augustine had helped me on my idea of God and Catholic forum was really Good for me to do the research. though I admit my own weaknesses to The LORD and I would like that say that the Catholic church is healing to me.I admit that I was looking around for My faith and was putting myself in a sense of comfort and never really comprehended my faith. I would look at more American Evangelical Christian Pastors and such, furthermore I would listen to Orthodox work like the “Be the Bee” Series which was for education and looking at the lives of some of the saints like Abba Moses. Then… I went to a Catholic church on holiday and looked up at the saint glass window of the Father,son and Holy spirit and something drew me to it. I am unsure if it was physiological or spiritual( it happen again but with the alter) I ask the deacon for education to the church and he gave me the catechism of the Catholic church. It had made sense to me at times and I had to do the read the scripture and such.
what am I going though and why am I struggling with being confident with catholicism?
