I am in deep distress-please pray for me!

I am in deep distress. I made a foolish financial mistake and now my husband and I will be suffering for the next 6 months. I have no idea what to do.

God’s Divine Providence has blessed me in so many ways, I should be at peace. But, I am not. I am frightened and anxious. I have nowhere to turn for assistance in correcting this mistake.

Please pray for me that God will have mercy on a frightened fool. Lord, please help my unbelief and forgive me!!!

Make use, I implore you, of that particular privilege accorded to you of bringing visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolations and succor of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, in particular Liturgy_Geek, and that I may bless God with you and all the elect throughout eternity. Prayers for your peace of mind and for your Infant of Prague novena.

It is money troubles that seem to get my goat too, but of all the problems you could have, money troubles are the easiest to fix. Or so I’ve been told. We live in an age of no more debtors prisons, and you can always make more money. But, golly I hate money problems anyway.
 
May God bless you and care for you. I’ve been there before. As counter intuitive as it may sound, times like these actually do help you draw closer to God. Praying now that you’ll experience his warm compassion and care and help pass it on to someone else who needs it.
 
I did the same thing over a decade ago and it forced me to declare bankruptcy. Everything worked out just fine. Praying for you.
