I am sick with a bad respiratory infection

Hey everyone. I am sick with a bad respiratory infection. My Asthma has been acting up severely since yesterday. It started flaring on Sunday but its gotten worse. I have barely any energy and I can’t breathe well at all. I’m also experiencing allergy issues. I’d appreciate prayers.

Hi Holly,

I am very sorry to hear this.

I can relate to this happening, as I have been through similar illnesses myself. It is very scary when you can’t breathe properly, or when your breathing takes a turn for the worst. I have asthma and allergy issues too, and I can very easily come down with bronchitis or pneumonia.

I hope that you recover very soon.

Thanks to everyone for the prayers. I think I have another case of Bronchitis. I am going to try to see a doctor soon. I’ll keep you all updated.

Absolutely agree with Linus 2nd. I you haven’t already got antibiotics - you need them and possibly steroid support whilst you are in such distress. Wonder if you have a nebulizer?
God helps those who help themselves! Yes He will carry you through this but He will want you to seek medical help from those to whom He has given such expertise;
May Jesus ease your fear and be close to you throughout this bad time. God bless you.

Hi Emily. I do have a nebulizer. I’ve been using it about twice a day so far. Thanks for your prayers.

That said, thank you to everyone else who have prayed as well. I think I am doing a little bit better today. I haven’t yet gone to the doctor but I am thinking about going to the Urgent Care later.
 
O God, of Your mercy, hear our prayer that Your servant, Holly, may soon be restored to full health. May Your blessing descend upon her, and may it there remain. Amen
