I am so sick, scared and lost. Prayers!

We beseech thee to help us in all our needs and trials of this life, as thou, through the power of God, didst restore sight and give guidance to young Tobit. We humbly seek thine aid and intercession, that our souls may be healed, our bodies protected from all ills, and that through divine grace we may be made fit to dwell in the eternal Glory of God in heaven.

Please say a prayer tonight that I can get the medication from the doctor tomorrow that I need to get well. I just cannot get well. I am so very sick. Thank you! VitoJoe

My chest and throat are burning right now.
Please say a little prayer that this Augmentin works tonight.
I am also out of antibiotic and terrified.
Off to say another rosary now for all of your needs.

I was so sure that the new medication would work from the new doctor.
It did not.
And the side effects, as everyone says online, are horrific.
The burning and pain and pressure in my chest and throat are all still there.
So I called the office tonight. He had left for the day. They will call me tomorrow at 10 AM.
Azithromycin is the ONLY drug that even remotely works.
The ONLY drug.
I just do not know how to get better.
They said twice I do not have the virus but then why do I have these symptoms and why can I not get better?
I do not even know if God cares about me.
I mean how many times can I bother you for prayers?
I always say I will pray for you all and I do but I am so exhausted now I just cannot.
Please say a prayer that I can get a Z Pack tomorrow.
I am desperate.
I am so lost, sick, confused and scared.
Where are you God?

VitoJoe, I know it must be hard to do, but you MUST relax your mind and body. Being scared and tense will also make it hard for you to breathe. Don’t worry about praying for us, YOU need the prayers right now and we are here for you. Rest your mind and body. God bless.

I am trying so very hard Tuscany But I am just so terrified that the next step for this virus is into my lungs. It is right there! So close! Thank you.
 
Vitojoe- you are in my prayers. I’m sorry you’re having these problems… please, as Tuscany said- try and relax. Do you think you could try and focus on what Jesus might do to help you or just think about him and his life? Think of all the miracles he performed instead of about what the next step is for a virus. Would you try that?

I’m praying all goes well for you tomorrow. Hopefully, they will help you and with the proper medication. Also remember God isn’t limited to only one antibiotic. I know it’s difficult thinking you need X antibiotic because it’s the ONE. I’ve been there with another sickness years back.

You have many people praying for you.

Thank you so much, Tuscany, ATraveller, Bixx and Katherine and everyone else kind enough to remember me.

The kind Indian doctor gave me a new medication called Cefdinir. But the side effects are scary.

But I am going to just trust that from all of my prayers and from the prayers of all of you, that this is what God desires for me right now.

It has not changed anything yet though.

It is still the same story – the antibiotic relieves the burning until the next pill is due. And that is scary because it does not get better.

The scary thing is that I never had any upper respiratory infection last this long – 4 months.

And yet I evidently do not have the virus.

And so I am going to have to trust that there is a reason for all of this.

The big challenge, however, is the overwhelming depression that ensues and the 3 siblings of mine who think I am making this up (the other 3 and my parents all believe me).

I believe that the stress in my personal family life paired with the world situation may also be what is causing me to not be able to get well.

And so I am just going to have to trust.

I just took another pill. The side effects are so bad and it has very negative reviews on patient drug websites. But among the positive reviews, a woman said it has helped her and what she had to do was to just take it once a day so that the side effects did not stop her.

As someone who loves to pray, I have been having a very hard time concentrating on prayer. I was unable to finish yesterday’s rosary.

SO I will try my best to pray for you all today.
