UPDATE:
Just heard from the doctor. The main enzyme we were worried about did go down, but not as low as we were hoping. The other two enzymes went up … so she said that the drug I took definitely did more liver damage … but she doesn’t believe there is cancer or a tumor … just damage from the drug and she is hoping it will get better … so the plan is to retest the liver numbers in two months … and pray that they go down.
At least she told me she’s no longer worried about tumors or cancer … she is more upset that the allopurinol that I took for the gout seems to have damaged my liver.
