Hello all, I said somethings on this forum that I shouldn’t have. I don’t even want to repeat it, but I shouldn’t have said it as a Muslim. I didn’t mean to offend anyone, but on this forum it’s like 100 against one. Almost everyone makes statements and claims which are false about Islam and I can’t keep up with everyone as I am one person. This can get overwhelming and frustrating that is what lead me to be harsh and say wrong things. I do apologize and pray you all accept my apology.

Of course we do! We are always up for a discussion. And, if there are those out there that make statements about Islam that are not true, I understand why you are upset. Goodness knows I get upset when people say things that are not true about the Catholic Church.

I admit that I know little about Islam, and your presence here is welcome as I always desire to learn more.

I wish you the best, and I hope to read more from you. It is in the spirit of learning more that we all end up here.

Thanks. I believe in apologizing when I am wrong. I have to do it alot sometimes lol. 🙂

When you said that there’s so much confusion about Islam and it’s frustrating. Well, welcome to Catholicism. Now you know how we feel.

Vatican II and JP II always called for dialog…an exchange of ideas of both parties in fairness. We hope that we Catholics do our part in listening as well as explaining. Dialog also progresses in fine tuning the TRUTH. Mere tolerance on the otherhand has the caveat of being a time bomb.

While we’re on the subject of apologies Emad - I know I’ve been less than charitable to all sorts of people on these forums who disagreed with my opinions. :o

That goes for some Catholics as well as plenty of people of other faiths. :yup:

A part of me wants to go through his post history to see what he said 😃

But the other part of me that isnt evil will accept this apology no questions asked 👍

If you can’t keep up, become Catholic! Just kidding. We all need to work on our levels of charity to our Muslim brothers & sisters, especially during Holy Week as Jesus asks us to pray even for our enemies.

Emad we can all sympathize with you on being outnumbered and on the defensive.its hard to deal with.but you sound like a very intelligent person and we all get frustrsted and lash out when cornered.it is Gods hope that through faithful discusion we can all realize our differences and try to come to a commen ground in HIS opinion.ours doesnt mean a thing.with furvent prayer we will all join together in the light of HIS presence one day and be truly one.

Yes, not only Jesus, but Noah, Abraham, Muhammad and many others peace be upon them all, and now you know how those who persecuted them felt. 😉
 
We all say things we don’t mean sometimes, me included. With the exception of those trolls who consistently refuse any kind of correction right off the bat, you just have to take the good with the bad and hope others will have the courtesy to do the same for you. So yeah, you’re okay… don’t worry too much about it.
