If it helps explain the situation, it was a daily Mass, with 22 high school kids, and maybe 4 adults, mostly in their twenties. So while we weren’t kids, there were many parts in the Mass where you could tell the Priest’s intention was to make it more directed at a younger audience.

right, but i didnt want him to minister to us by breaking the rules. That was what bothered me, that I thought he did something wrong, but if he just made a choice between acceptable form a and b, thats fine.
