I cannot believe how much I keep learning and want to learn. This is happening to my husband and son as well. We are listening at different times in the day to Catholic teachings and are being moved spiritually independent of one another just as we were in 1994-- but more so now from our son’s break up with a girlfriend who is non- denominational/ Evangelical. Her prepared questions to us initially brought our unprepared answers from the heart-- they had to have been from the Holy Spirit because they came out pretty well with no training-- just prayer. I just wanted to share that as a Protestant, I was ok-- but not on fire and passionate about sharing . I thank God that my family loves these conversations. I thank God for community like this forum . God Bless!

oceanblue, it sounds as if you have a great deal to be thankful for, God has given you many blessings! Pray for many more conversions just like your own!

Immaculate heart of Mary, pray for us now and at the hour of our death!

oceanblue, Congratulations on your entry into the Church and your love for Her! Though I am blessed to be a “cradle Catholic,” I have had the same “thirst” for most of my life.

For what it’s worth, in the last few years, I’ve discovered some great “thirst-quenchers”: EWTN; pretty much anything printed by TAN or by Scepter; and good MP3 Catholic download available online (and many are free!), such as EWTN, various Catholic radio shows, Peter Kreeft, etc.

God bless you!

Kristen

Thank you so much for sharing your faith with us. This lift up my faith as well to see others who come to know the Truth. Yes, there are always things to learn. 🙂 That’s why the Holy Spirit is here for us.

God bless you and your family.

Welcome to the forums!:tiphat:
