I really need some people to pray for me and my girlfriend Rachel G.

We got into a huge fight last night after she asked me if her Ex boyfriend can come out to our house. I told her no and it started a huge fight and I was on the verge of loosing her. She called one of her other friends and told her friend that she was ending our relationship. I was up in my room crying when I heard her say that. Her friend (not her ex) however told her to stay with me. I really need prayer for mine and her relationship we are both Catholic and I really love this girl. We are starting our first practice with our church chior we decided to join togeather. please pray for rachel and myself (Rick)

If you have any advice please feel free to pm me on here.

thank you.
Rick H.

You know I’m staying with you. I’ve known my ex boyfriend since elementary school and just wanted to keep in touch with him. That’s all. Our fight was over trust- not him. Please… trust me more.

Jesus some of us are more prone to insecurity in our relationships. Perhaps our experiences have been painful at some time regarding trust, or perhaps our sense of self isn’t as secure as others may think, and we need both the patience and wisdom of our dear ones, as well as the grace to grow in self-esteem and trust. When we respond in fear it is often about our own insecurities, and the preciousness of those whom we dread to lose, that makes us naturally respond with something of jealousy. Help us, help our brother, as such natural responses are very painful and difficult to grow past.

Help our brother to grow in security and trust, and help our sister to be mindful of our brother’s feelings, especially when she has shared some of her love and life with him previously, while also deserving the right to retain friendships. Please help these young people to be respectful and genuinely loving towards each other…and Rachel, your kind post surely is a great relief to Rick. Please take the best care of each other. God grant it will be so

Amen…I really thought I was eves-dropping in on a conversation with the Lord!

Lord, please help the two in this relationship grow in trust with each other. May they be more obedient to Your teachings and the teachings of Your Church!
