Is not the study of psychology based on the supposition of some behavioral robotism?Being an idiot is not only a matter of not knowing a lot of things on a variety of topics but also, and primarily, not thinking clearly. Our thinking is often colored and clouded by prejudiced attitudes, motivational needs, sociocultural and experiential influences, and biological constraints. However, these are what make us human thinkers rather than behavioral robots despite their sometimes negative outcomes.
