I bought my niece a Bible for her confirmation. Any good verses I could point out to her?

I got her the Good News Bible - Compact Edition Soft Touch (There wasn’t a great collection for girls making their confirmation).

I was wondering are there any fun/interesting passages that I could point out that might get her interested in reading it?

I would say the best bet is pointing out verses which have import or value to you, or you think would connect with your niece. You know her better than any of us, haha

Given her age she may not really know what the Bible is for. I would start with the first verses we were taught in our first scripture course in the seminary:

“All scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for refutation, for correction, and for training in righteousness so that one who belongs to God may be competent, equipped for every good work.”
