It does define contrition however.

…and your assertion adds a novel component: “contrition is perfect through 51% charity”. (That’s the only part of your assertion to which I object. You’re adding a constraint where none exists.)

I rephrased it in the original post to: mostly which means more than 50%.

Father Hardon expressed it in Modern Catholic Dictionary as:
In perfect contrition the sinner detests sin more than any other evil, because it offends God, who is supremely good and deserving of all human love.
 
If you recognize that you shouldn’t have done something, and resolve to not do it again, then that counts as repentance. While it’s usually accompanied by an emotional response, it doesn’t strictly have to be as emotions are out of our control - we can not help what makes us feel sad or happy or angry. The important part is our reason, which we can control.
