Please pray that I avoid seeking for fornication and other perversions tomorrow and thereafter.

Praying to the Holy Spirit to give you guidance, direction, strength, fortitude & wisdom to overcome your temptations.

May I ask why you cannot pray for yourself?
I can’t find the time.

But “find” can mean two meanings here: it could mean that I am looking for some time to pray that isn’t there (the subject is looking for an object that isn’t there), or that I am intentionally looking for everything but some time to pray (the subject is intentionally avoiding the object which is there). I mean “find” more in the later sense (to claim the first sense is basically a heresy), which means my avoidance of pray is a grave fault, and probably a mortal sin in itself, not to mention a major source for most other of my other mortal sins.

But at the same time, it feels like I don’t have the power to pray. Like I just don’t have the willpower to do it. Of course, most people recommend that, to strength my heart, I need to pray. But if the only way to get the strength to pray is through prayer, I’m trap in a infinite circle prison.

So, it might be best put as I am intentionally looking for everything but some time to pray, and I do so because I don’t have the power to change my intentions. The subject refuses the object that is there because the subject can will otherwise.

Or, as St. Paul puts it:

My own actions bewilder me; what I do is not what I wish to do, but something which I hate (Roman 7:15).

Hail Mary, full of grace the lord is with you. Blessed are you among women and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, mother of God, pray for is sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen

God, please, help this person towards celibacy and peace. Your grace is indeed powerful. May you place in his heart the knowledge that all he needs is to ask and you’ll answer.

You desire to change (according to your original post) but won’t pray for the desire to change?

Just do it, it takes 10 seconds to talk to God. Talking to God is prayer.

Oh yea, I almost forgot: May God give you the grace to pray:)

PRAYER TO ST. JOSEPH

Saint Joseph, you are the faithful protector and intercessor of all who love and venerate you. You know that I have confidence in you and that, after Jesus and Mary, I come to you as an example for holiness, for you are especially close with God. Therefore, I humbly commend myself, with all who are dear to me and all that belong to me, to your intercession. I beg of you, by your love for Jesus and Mary, not to abandon me during life and to assist me at the hour of my death.

Glorious Saint Joseph, spouse of the Immaculate Virgin, pray for me to have a pure, humble, charitable mind, and perfect resignation to the divine Will. Be my guide, my father, and my model through life that I may die as you did in the arms of Jesus and Mary.

Loving Saint Joseph, faithful follower of Jesus Christ, I raise my heart to you to implore your powerful intercession in obtaining from the Divine Heart of Jesus all the graces necessary for my spiritual and temporal welfare, particularly the grace of a happy death, and the special grace I now implore.
Guardian of the Word Incarnate, I feel confident that your prayers on my behalf will be graciously heard before the throne of God.

St. Joseph Most Prudent, Pray for us!
Amen.
