I talked to a priest about it.

He told me that whether it was wrong or not depended on how seriously I was taking it.

He included fortune tellers and throwing the dice with the I ching.

Thats a lie that you said you cannot be cursed by reading, curses come from reading that’s what a incantation is !

Thats a lie that you said
First of all, mind yourself. I will not tolerate you accusing me of lying. Either you mind the way you speak or you find someone else to help you solve your severe issues.

Second of all, an incantation presumes a series of spoken words. Look up “incantation” in a dictionary.

Third of all, go see a bloody therapist. This obsession with getting cursed isnt healthy or normal.

You literally just said you cannot be cursed by reading and then went on to say what a incantation is spoken words!

Oh goodness me.

I’m sorry, I presumed I was speaking to an adult. You see, when you grow up, you’ll learn to read silently, with your eyes.

Reading with your eyes is still the same effect on a incantation it still works, you don’t seem to get that at all all magic books esoteric occult books speak about this yet you in your wisdom mock and attack me for stating this, who the real adult !

Unfortunately our differences here lie in the fact that I do not accept magical hocus pocus BS as valid material to base my beliefs on. Are you Catholic?
who the real adult
The one who is able to make even minimal use of his mental faculties and determine accordingly that magic “esoteric” books do not contain correct information.

Why don’t you read about the history of th I Ching and forget about divination.

The I Ching isn’t a book of incantations–magic-making–but rather it is a book of divination–fortune-telling. Those are both forbidden, but they are two distinct things.

You talk about the I Ching as something “esoteric” that no one has ever read. That isn’t what it is. It has been read and read to death and it isn’t a book of spells. This isn’t some book of spells that was locked in a magic room in a magic castle or some other ghost story like that some poor schmuck accidentally unleashes a genie on the world or something. The I Ching cannot be used “accidentally”; the person has to cast six up/down divination tools to do it. Yes, it could be tossing coins in the air, but there has to be some deliberate action of divination to use it that way. Even then, the chances are that somebody trying to use it would (pardon the pun) not be able to make heads or tails out of the activity.
