I committed the same sin right after Confession; do I need to re-confess?

I recently slipped and became drunk in a moment of weakness. I confessed this sin along with others, was truly sorry for my sins, but then had a beer on the way home from confession. Furthermore, I became drunk two more times since and have been feeling extremely remorseful. I wonder if I was truly contrite when making my confession, and I obviously did not make an effort to amend my ways. Did I invalidate my last confession? Do I need to re-confess all of the sins from my previous confession, or just confess that I had fallen into the sins again and confess the new sins?

Dear friend,

I do not see the necessity of re-confessing all your sins. It sounds like a valid Confession. I do not see this as a matter of insincerity. – But I DO see it as an example of denial. You had more than one beer on your way home. My friend:

YOU HAVE A SERIOUS DRINKING PROBLEM !

You need to go to Alcoholics Anonymous regularly!

We will be praying for you.
