Keep praying to St. Michael and perhaps start praying to Blessed Bartolo Longo. He used to be a Satanic priest, but later converted back to Catholicism and eventually became a lay Dominican. Also, you might want to join the Occult group.

Dear Matt, your guardian angel had probably prepared a huge party with Jesus on your return to him. Welcome back. Keep praying. If i was you, i would consult with a priest to ask for extra prayers and possibly exorcism. You could have dark entities in you. If you have any pain in your solar plexus during confession or a prayer of our Holy father, it is a sign. Be patient with yourself, it is a journey. If you have no remorse it could be normal but pray Mother Mary that she gives you remorse so you can be free from any unloving choice you made. It is so important to understand the wrong doing of our past action. There is chapelet of Mercy that you should consider to do. Here is a link on youtube.

I pray for you, your future wife and family to be safe and protected in all ways. I ask for St Padre Pio, St Benedict and Mother Mary to pray for you always.

Many blessings during your journey and your way home with God.
Well said 👍

I also used to be a Satanist, though I was never in a cult, but that’s only because I didn’t know how to join one. I am extemely thankful to God for leading me back to Him as soon as He did as if had gone on for much longer perhaps I would’ve found a cult (or Satan would have led me to one) and also, of course, because no creature, least of all a demon, deserves to be worshipped. I’m also very thankful to God that He led you home as well (that might sound like a strange thing to say as I don’t know you, but God created both of us and wants us both to be with Him now and forever.)

Hello.

Very edified and delighted with your post.

Have you read anything about Blessed Bartolo Longo? It may be helpful.

Praise be to God!

Matt,

I want you to have courage. 1 John 4:4 “…greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world.”

I am making a personal committment to you that I will remain in daily prayer for you from today until March 8th, 2013. Please remember we are here for you as you grow in grace and knowlege of our Saviour!

Here’s a song I thought of when I read your post. I hope it brings you comfort in dark moments. youtube.com/watch?v=y_VR-zwp2KA “The Great I am” by Philips, Craig & Dean.

Hello,

I’d like to ask for people’s prayers here. I converted to Roman Catholicism through the RCIA program this past April 7th on the Easter Vigil Mass. Prior to that, I was deeply involved in Satanism. I was a member of a group called “the Brotherhood”, and I had a teacher that I was learning from for several years. I was proficient in witchcraft, demonolatry (worshipping demons), and various forms of rituals. My apartment had altars to many different demons who I would pray to and offer incense and offerings on daily basis in return for money, sex, and different favors. (and yes, it works!)
One day, one of my rituals went wrong and the demons I worked with became unpleasant to be around. One of the demons on my altar would cause me to be sick to me stomach when I prayed to it.

Their presence was suffocating and I needed them gone. I purchased a St Michael candle and prayed the prayer on the back and asked Michael to send the demons away from my home. Almost instantly, the demonic presence disappeared. I then realized that God had more power that the demons which I worshipped and worked with as allies on a daily basis. After a few months, my girlfriend at the time (who is now engaged to me, and we are preparing for marriage!) talked with me about Satanism and about how God uses bad experiences in life to bring people to Him. I decided to throw out all my occult stuff and join the Catholic Church.
It’s a struggle, but I’m doing my best to live by Christ’s commandments and live as God wills me to. I’m under pressure often to return to the occult, but I know this would be a grave sin and I dont want to go back. The power you gain from Satanism is highly addicting, but it doesnt compare to the peace that Jesus gives. I just wanted to share this testimony and ask that you pray for me that God would bless my life as I live for Him and for protection against my old companions, as I’m sure they are angry with me. I still find myself under constant attack from the enemy through temptation and nightmares.

Your Brother in Christ,

-Matt Brown
Now you need to do the basic catholic things really, really well: A life of prayer and a life of the spirit nurtured by the Sacraments of Confession and Communion and pray the Rosary everyday.

I suggest you keep it, this simple. There is a real danger of falling into a prideful attitude with doing “a lot of catholic devotions and involvements” so as to counter-balance your previous nefarious accomplishments.

Keep to the narrow path and the humble way of catholic devotion and reverence. I am happy for you that Jesus has rescued you from the wickedness and snares of the Devil. Truely your angel and all of heaven rejoice-and so do I.

Aquiesce anima mea, in Deus salus mea.

Hey I am so happy for you. I have had a similar journey home to the church as I was deeply involved in the gothic industrial subculture for many years and deeply involved in the occult. I still love the music but stopped listening to any bands that glorify the enemy or rampant drug use and listen to mostly the love songs. Goth has some amazing love songs. I encourage you to make frequent adoration confession and rosary. Read st louis de Montfort secret of the rosary. Especially the part wher he writes that even if you have one foot in hell or have sold your soul to the devil you can save your soul. Read the 15 promises of the rosary. Our lady snatched me from utter hellfire as the lord converted met in the darkest places like burning man. Before I knew it I became a 4th degree knight in a catholic chivalric order and barely recognize my former self. Put on the new man in Christ. They say God draws straight with crooked lines. God loves you and don’t give up the fight. The best part is it is real! The Holy Trinity is the only God there ever was or ever will be. He is the Lord. I know without a doubt. I can’t prove it and sometimes question myself but in my heart of hearts I heard his voice and never looked back. There will be times the enemy will tempt you and none of us are perfect but make the best of your new life and move forward. God is good his mercy endures forever. Trust him work hard and hopefully we’ll see eachother at the wedding feast of the lamb!

Hi,

Awesome story. How can anyone question the power of prayer? It’s beyond me!

Congratulations and stay strong!

God Bless you and keep you! You are in my prayers. I hope you disposed of all of your “things” and either moved from your apartment or had it blessed.
Merry Christmas and may the Blessed Family watch over you.

Here the question arose:
How can anyone question the power of prayer? It’s beyond me!<
I would like to open a new thread:
How can anyone question the power of prayer?<
would you like to open such a thread, I right now am too busy to. Will later.
MERRY CHRISTMAS
yours
Bruno

I skimmed through this thread to see if anyone else mentioned this, but did not see it: 1) the St Benedict Medal, be sure to get one and have the exorcism prayer prayed by the priest along with blessing it, and 2) Holy water, keep a bottle of holy water available, use it to dispel any demonic presences in your home, especially where you formerly set up your shrine to demons. If you haven’t already, you should have a priest visit to formally bless your home.

I had some type of problem starting the group. I will try again.

Merry Christmas!
