I didn't think I'd be this upset

It’s surreal for sure. And it’s starting to hit where I am in the States. Not enough to “strain the system” yet (Medically), but enough to let us know it most likely will, and sooner rather than later. As far as general supplies at stores…I’d say THAT system is pretty well strained right now, in my area.

But it wasn’t a contest.
I’m a people person. I love to be around people, to help them.
 
See, I have a few close friends that I don’t mind being around, and that’s it. But, I do like helping people, I like finding ways to do that from a distance. And, to prevent another pandemic like this, that’s going to have to be the new normal. It’s unfortunate, but it’s the way things are.

I kid you not: a lot of people really DID use catalogues. Newspaper is more easily manipulated, but leaves newsprint on skin. Magazine and catalogue paper sometimes leave paper cuts, but it does work. 🤣🤣🤣

However, if you must resort to that, tear the sheets in half—LOl! So you don’t run out of it, too! But keep a special waste basket for throwing the used “tissue” away. DO NOT FLUSH!! It will stop up your sewage lines. Repeat: Do - Not - Flush !!!

We’ve got people on Nextdoor offering to run errands for seniors. If you have an account there, don’t be shy about asking if someone could do so for you.

People are getting too cynical about the hoarders. There’s plenty of kindness to go around out there.

A guy in Quebec has written a song about the corona virus. In the last verse he says that until this is over he’s moving to his cabin in the woods where there are lots of birches and he’ll wipe with the bark. 😄

Never said it was a contest. It was supposed to be humorous. No need to be defensive.

We need levity now more than ever. No need to be so serious.

I’m extroverted to an extent. I hate introversion at its most extreme, and I likewise hate the extremest point of extroversion. I prefer a balance – surround myself with people only when I most, and they have to be certain people. Most people I merely tolerate.

God understands these circumstances. You can be absolved by asking Him directly for forgiveness. When it isn’t possible to go to confession, you still can go directly to God.
 
Because it wasn’t suitable for this forum and I thought better of it. It had absolutely nothing to do with your post.
 
Thank GOD, our Bishop is encouraging increased Confession and Anointing opportunities. One can now go to confession 7 days a week at our parish!
