There may be linguistic problems here.

Angels are, after all, God’s messengers, and have intervened in numerous situations.

Are you actually reading all the evidence we are giving you? Or are you actually just skipping them and just attacking us? Honestly, if you do not believe in the trinity then you do not believe Jesus is God, and God is Jesus. Therefore you believe they are two distinct beings. Meaning you believe they are two separate Gods. That is worst. You are part of the Unitarian church… urgh.

  1. John 5:19
The Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees the Father doing, because whatever the Father does, the Son does also.
  2. Mark 10:18
Why do you call me good? No one is good, except God alone.
  3. John 14:28
The Father is greater than I.
  4. Matthew 27:46
My God, My God, why hast thou forsaken me?
looks like you snatched these from a list. where are the others?

As for #9, Jesus = fully human/fully God. As fully God, he could not sin, so to be fully human had to suffer being “forsaken” by God. It was the only way.

You believe God created everything from nothing but can’t be a Holy Trinity? Don’t try to fit God inside of human limitation.

You respect Maria, who conceived a child as a virgon. You accept this impossibility but not the most Holy Trinity?

I’m guessing Caylee’s beliefs are probably similar to Arianism. Jesus was a great guy who was chosen by God to be the Messiah, but he isn’t God himself.

I myself believe it. I interpret it that way. God created the angels before He created man, therefore I believe the angels is to create “let us”. I know that the angels are not God, but they are like him. and we are like God.
I believe in a God who is all powerful. He doesn’t need angels to help him create the earth. If he allowed the angels to help him then he would no longer be the single origin of the universe. God would not share that glory with created beings. Plus, I honestly don’t see how that interpretation makes sense in the context.

There is a Psalm which states God is worthy of all praise, even the angels should praise God because of the works of his hand, the psalmist then points to Creation.

Therefore the angels did not have a part in Creation.

There are two reasons for this. 1. God doesn’t need help. 2. It would detract from the magnificience splendour and majesty of God.

Whoops … I wrote proven wrong

I understand the Trinity in a way, and understands the argument that one can not understand God. But God in the Old Testament is very clear that he is one. And he even speaks. How can a person speak if it is three persons?
No one denies that he is one. My point is that you seem to be basing your view on logic; you don’t see how it is logically possible for God to be both three and one at the same time, so you deny it. But the thing is, lots of things about God are illogical, I only pointed out one there are countless others. If we use only human logic to judge everything about God then we’d be in a big mess. That’s what we’re trying to get at, that sometimes you just have to take a leap of faith, and trust that God’s revelation is true and let go of reason and logic for a moment. We believe in the Trinity because we believe God has revealed to us that it is true. If God came to you and told you it was true, would you believe him? Or would you deny it because you see it as illogical?

God speaking: Simple, either all three persons of the Trinity spoke at once or only one person spoke, depending on the context of the passage.

Just like logically I couldn’t possibly have a soul. I mean, am I a person or a soul? Which one is it?

Or maybe I am a person and I have a soul, my soul is not my body and my body is not my soul, but my soul together with my body makes me the person I am.

No I do not have answers to them. But you have answers to the verses I came with? I doubt it.
Caylee,

Here’s an explanation of the Trinity.

You believe in one God…right?

Ask yourself these questions

Q: Is Jesus also referred to as “the word” in scripture? Y/N

Q: Is Jesus God? Y/N

If you say no,

how do you respond to the following?

Jn 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things came into being through him, and without him not one thing came into being. What has come into being 4 in him was life, and the life was the light of all people……. 14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, full of grace and truth; we have beheld his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father. 15 (John bore witness to him, and cried, “This was he of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me ranks before me, for he was before me.’”) 16 And from his fulness have we all received, grace upon grace. 17 For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. 18 No one has ever seen God; the only Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, he has made him known.

If you say yes

then you have to admit, scripture here says the Father is God, and Jesus the Son “the Word” is God. That’s 2 Gods. Isn’t God 1 ? How do you explain that?

Do you believe in Mithra? Mary is an impersonation of Mithra.
