Thanks. It’s actually my friend’s cat, but he latched on to me while my friend was out of town.
Unfortunately, most of the places I’ve lived over the last ten years have a no pet policy, and my dad hates dogs and (to a lesser extent) cats anyways. Now that I’m finally living in a place that allows them, it’s too small, and I’m afraid any cat would be really stressed out.
The aforementioned friends’ place was really the only place I’ve lived recently where there were pets. Everyone else in the house had a cat and/or dog. Like with the little guy in my profile pic, I was the go-to person for all the pets whenever their respective owners were away. Contrary to stereotypes, I felt the dog was the most manipulative.

Yeah my husband and I may consider getting some cats or a dog but I had some allergy problems that may complicate this. So I latch on to other people’s pets and cute things over the internet.
