My daughter is in the 8th grade and is required to read the Diary of Ann Frank. Last night she read to me from it and I was shocked. I couldn’t believe it. My daughter then advised that they were notified that this version is the complete version and that in the past several entries were removed from Ann’s Diary - specifically Ann is describing her homosexual desires and experiences with another girl prior to being in hiding. I was absolutely shocked.
Are these entries really true? Was Ann a practicing homosexual as she describes in her diary or are these entries which authorities claim are part of her diary actually fakes added to her diary by people with a homosexual agenda?
Regardless, I am very disturbed that this Diary of Ann Frank is required reading since it is clearly trying to glorify homosexuality! The book ought to be banned as there are far better works of those who lived through the Holocaust that weren’t homosexual sinners. I read plenty of them when I was in Junior High, I just don’t recall there names at the moment. My daughter and I just read one together just last year for the sake of learning more outside of school requirements.
