But this morning, i flipped open to a random Gospel page, as I have started doing, and read the various sections on those two pages. Today I landed in the Gospel of Luke.

I thought the passages that stuck out were the section about the wouldbe followers of Jesus(…let the dead bury their dead…) vs. the benefits of disciplehood stated a bit later(Blessed are the eyes that see what you have seen…)

So i meditated on the cost vs. reward of following Christ. Not a completely useless meditation, but…

THen I open up the Magificat to read the days Gospel, and lo and behold is the Matthew parallel to another section that was on my pages of Luke

“The Harvest is plenty but the Laborers are few…”

So then I added more meditation time. God doesnt show you the same vesre twice for no reason.

Just a random musing, feel free to comment

Firstly we have FREE WILL to choose
Secondly we have a FALLEN NATURE
So There is (a) our EGO (Own Will) (b) The voice of the Tempter (Evil Spirits) and (c) The Holy Sprit (Graces / Guardian Angels)

The more we spend with the LOrd (in the Presence of the Blessed Sacrament) and speak to HIM (Our Living God)… the more GRACES we receive to guide our FREE WILL to GOODNESS AND TRUTH.
