I feel bad..

I ended up pretending to be a guy and texted a girl i know because i wanted to figure something out and i was bored, and now i feel bad …if i confess, what would this be called… how should i confess this to the priest? would saying lying or deceiving be the right thing to say to the priest rather than explaining what I did?

You could either tell the priest what you did in your own words or you could tell him that you intentionally deceived someone.

…well, it is a sort of a lie…and if you refuse to refer it as a lie…just go to confession and you have or you will be given enough time for you to describe what had been the sin you commited…
