I feel better after communion

does anybody else feel just like physicaly better after receiveing communion.?
i do its not like i get more energy or anyhting like tha but i just feel more like awake and alive. that ever happen to anybody?

After confession and a lengthy fast, Mass and communion are the tops.🙂

43 And there was a certain woman having an issue of blood twelve years, who had bestowed all her substance on physicians, and could not be healed by any. 44 She came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment; and immediately the issue of her blood stopped.

If just touching the “hem of his garment” can accomplish this, imagine what having his body can do!👍

Not so fond of the fasting (at least not from food) - I tend to get grouchy and low-blood-sugary. But confession, absolutely, and communion a lot of the time (can’t say always)

I hear you. Three hours is an awfully long time when you’re used to eating small amounts of food all day long. 🙂
 
This used to happen to me a lot when I was in grade school where I would feel more awake and alive as you put it after receiving communion. Now it happens not so often but I did notice this during Holy week when for once I devoted more time to God and went to mass on Holy Thursday, Good Friday services and the Easter Vigil as well as spending more time in prayer.

Sometimes my hunger goes away (until I leave Mass, anyway). After church, I’m usually starving, but the Eucharist actually does make me feel better.

I feel mentally & physically better after receiving. I love going to Daily Mass for that reason. I have a much better day when I go!
 
I fell “better” after communion. I especially love when the “communion lady” as my co workers call her, comes around at work and I am able to receive communion.
