Hi everyone,
I was feeling sad today and tried to figure out what was bothering me. I think that I am feeling completely alone. No matter who I am with or what I am doing, I have a very intense feeling of being completely alone. It doesn’t seem to matter who I talk to or spend time with, there is always this deep complete feeling of being alone. I don’t know what to do about it, and I wish I could feel like I am with other people and with God in some way. I know there are a lot of other people who feel the same way. I would like to ask for prayers for all people who feel alone and sad because of it. I think Mother Teresa of Calcutta (soon to be Saint Teresa of Calcutta) said the greatest form of poverty in America is loneliness. Please pray for all people who feel alone and isolated to find some form of union and connectedness and love with others. And may we be a source of love and relief to those who feel alone.

Sorry for your situation. Loneliness is one of the most painful things to deal with. Prayers said for you and your intention.

Prayer said.

I know how you are feeling, I feel this way too sometimes. I know it’s hard sometimes but try to remember that God is with you at all times. It might seem like He is far away, but He’s not. Just take a moment and talk to Him like He is sitting right next to you. Tell Him all your worries, problems and anxieties and ask for His help.

I have felt this way. For what it’s worth, you are not alone. God is with you and walks with you.
 
I’ll be praying for you, brother (or sister) in Christ =) (just wanted to make sure since a lot of people here have mistaken me for a woman) and yeah, you’re definitely not alone. All of God’s angels and saints are always with you, and many other Catholics here who have come to know of your plight are there for you, even only in spirit, or we might even encounter one another in real life, which would be cool 👍 Yeah, so I hope that you will encounter that love, joy, and peace that you need right now. God bless. Oh and I also pray for all of those suffering with loneliness as well, which includes me, more often than not.

I know how you feel, I have days like that, for sure. St. John of the Cross, pray for us!
 
I too feel very much alone – my children live so far away from me and I’m fortunate if I see them once a year – my grandchildren also live far away and I don’t think they would recognize me if they saw me. The only thing that keeps me going is prayer – when I had a car I went to Mass every day – also I belong to the Legion of Mary in our Parish and the Legion helps me get through the days – I pray the Rosary every day – I’ll remember you in my prayers.

Although it probably is no comfort, you share aloneness with our LORD. Even in his hour of greatest anxiety, all His friends were asleep!

HAVE to feel alone, we who are many are one
body in Christ!! 1 Cor. 12:12
