My wife is still sometimes threatening divorce. I don’t know how to resolve the issues.

It may look like I am advocating for divorce, but not really. I want peace…

A good counselor can help with that. But I would choose a Catholic one…maybe even a Priest, or at least one with strong Christian principals, personally. From what I hear from other counselors, many these days just usher the couple through divorce instead of working on the problems.

Definitely get some marriage counselling. It’ll give you a chance to work through your issues with a neutral party removed from the situation. It’ll also help you and your wife communicate better.

The particulars are too personal. I am just dealing with the general concept of the threat itself.

I’m sorry for this, I will pray for you.

In the meantime, I suggest calling someone from catholictherapists.com. They are a group of independent Therapists who all share & practice the Catholic Faith.

If you can see someone with your wife (which I highly recommend) at least see you by yourself.

God Bless

Well then a therapist would be the best idea. Without info we can’t offer much more than that. It could run from your wife is unhappy with her life, she is selfish or you abuse her…

We can pray that God held you two find the correct solution…
