If you’re trying to get a Pell Grant for a community college, its extremely hard to get anything because the COA(Cost of attendance) is usually low… Did you get offered any fiancial aid at all? How many classes were you planning on taking? Most CC are under 50.00 per credit hour if you are a resident of that county.

Also you’re proably still considered a dependant, which means you have to include your parents income on your FASFA. So I am sure that might not of helped either.

I went to CC for one year and I never paid more than 500-800 a semester in tuition and then about 200.00 give take in books. If you qualify for loans I would say go ahead and take them.

I was going to go part-time. I’m at the break off where they didn’t need my parents info. I wasn’t approved for any grants. She told me I would have to apply for loans. I want to go to the community college here. I’m been accepted there and I’m taking the entrance tests. Now I’m starting to think all the reviewing I’ve been doing for these tests is a waste of time. I’m going to see how much I can get approved for. Its around $73 per credit hour. I’m just going to pray and pray that something works out.
