I feel lonely and all alone and desolate

Please kerp me in your prayers…Im 39 and never been married and Im a convert but I really dont have any catholuc guy friends…and Im visually impaired and unable to drive…allthough I use the bus and uber alot…thank you…

Hi! I am so sorry that you feel lonely. I am also alone a lot and have found that listening to EWTN on TV or my Catholic radio station really makes me feel loved and happy and not as alone. Also going to daily mass if at all possible will get your day off to a wonderful start and you will get to know the people there. They will become your friends. I also like to say the Flame of Love rosary with a nun on YouTube.com. If you are having a bad day, get on YouTube and say different prayers, the Divine Mercy Chaplet or the rosary will make you feel wonderful. Or just type in Catholic prayers and see what comes up. I will pray for you every day and you can be my friend through prayer!!!

OF LONELINESS.

Dear Lord!
Make me remember,
when the world seems cold and dreary
and I know not where to turn for comfort,
that there is always one spot bright and cheerful,
the Sanctuary.
When I am in desolation of spirit,
when all who are dear to me have passed away
like summer flowers
and none are left to love me and care for me,
whisper to my troubled soul
that there is one Friend who dies not,
one who’s Love never changes
Jesus on the altar.
When sorrow thicken and crush me with their burden,
when I look in vain for comfort,
let me remember Your words:
“Come to Me,
all you who labor and are heavily burdened,
and I will refresh you.”
