I feel so slow witted about this new forum stuff?

I noticed the color change to “drab and depressing” and spent about 15 minutes trying to change it the other day. (Ug I still want to change it.)

Yesterday I notcied the ads on the side frames.

And today in the right side frame something about homeschoolers caught my eye, so I clicked it and low and behold it’s sub-groups!

So what other changes were made that I should be aware of?

Because obviously I don’t spend enough time here…
or at least I don’t spend it looking around much.

I’ve had a few people request to be my friend (and of course the request was granted), but I have no idea how to ask others.

We will support new skin colors in the near future. We just needed to upgrade the forums and support for a single skin made it easier and faster to go live.

This skin is actually a very soft khaki green-brown. If you see gray, your color settings are off a little bit. You might want to fiddle with your color settings.

As to the regular CAF places you previously frequented, they still operate in the same manner. We’ve just added a lot more new features.

Now, when you visit someone’s profile, the entire forum can see that you went there. (On every profile pages, there is a list of users who have recently viewed the user’s profile.)

Is an invasion of our privacy, or a great way to see if you have a stalker – you can be the judge…

Even before the upgrade, you could see what some forum members were doing (but not others). I never figured out why it only showed certain members’ activity, or how you could turn this on and off.

Go to your profile, and under “Settings and Options,” click “Edit Options.”

The first box gives you the ability to enable “Invisible Mode,” if you don’t want your little green button to light up when you’re online. It looks red to you, but not to anyone else.

hmmm, fiddled on 2 different computers and no difference is seen…
oh well, I wouldn’t ditch CAF just because of color differences!

invasion of privacy for me to know who is visiting me? online that is?
naw… I get all curious and go check out their profile. Guess that could either encourage a stalker or freak them out right back?

I sure hope so. The desert(orange) look was much better IMO. This color is just so sad dreary. Besides it isn’t one I’m familiar with in the rainbow too.

I also can’t wait for new color skins. I’ve tried messing with my color but can’t get away from gray. And I didn’t even notice the new groups until I read this thread.
