I have several prayerbooks, but there are different prayers I like in different books, and my favorite prayer for before and after Mass (by St Thomas Aquinas) is in a thick book I do not want to carry to Mass.
So I have been thinking about how to make a little prayerbook for a long time.
As I was looking at a prayercard it occurred to me: this particular card is the size of a photograph. It is too thick to go well in my missal… And it came to me to put it in one of those inexpensive clear plastic photo albums!
So I got some of those albums, and some colored paper and plain paper that was 4x6, and now am making my own prayerbooks!
I set Word at postcard/portrait, put some prayers on the pages, and started printing.
Since the paper I got was in those kind of notebooks in which all the pages are glued in at the top, I removed them and put them in so the part which had been glued was last into the printer. I save the darker-colored pages to put in under the others, as my printer really prefers to pick up from a pile that has more than 3 or 4 sheets of paper.
One could also print two “pages” of prayers on a landscape-oriented full size paper and then cut to fit.
I am so happy about this and want to share the idea with everyone!!!
And I am keeping my eyes open for a really nice album that is this size… But maybe I will just put some tape along the spine to make it look a little better.
Thanks to everyone who has answered my questions in the past!!!
