I finally told my parents I am Catholic

It actually went really well! They’re out of that crazy catholics are of the devil church and finally seeing just how sick that place was. They said their new pastor says “we can focus on the 90% we agree on or the 10% we disagree on.” They seemed to understand why I didn’t tell the earlier as well - I really feel like the relationship is doing a lot better than it was.

A huge success there and a thanks to everyone who’s given me advice on the matter!

It’s nice to know that it went well with your family! After all, each of us have our own path, don’t we? 🙂 in my family, I am the only one who attends Orthodox Church.
