I forgave someone but

A girl a know did something very mean to me
I won’t go into detail but basically I felt she kinda disliked for a bit but she always said we were fine the few times I asked

One day she snaps has angry out burst on me in public unprovoked (this is embarassing for her and I felt bad) only a few on our friends saw
I was upset and in very bad place for that day but put aside bad ways to go about and decide to forgive her even if she didn’t apologize
She eventually apologized (with some pressure from people she knows and her family) and I told her forgave her
She still treats me with slight negativity and doesn’t appear to like it when I’m around (sort of understandable)

My issue is that when people talk about her and assume that were great friends
I kinda have to dodge the question or light lie (which is a small sin but I’m under pressure)
I forgave her yes and have not done anything wrong to her
But people who don’t know what she did don’t understand
And I can’t tell them because out of mercy I told her I wouldn’t tell anyone what she did

Please pray for me
I really hope God understands and forgives my own sins for this
Because at times it can feel i let her get away with it and no cares I did the right thing 😦

Here you have an opportunity to grow in virtue. As a sign that you have forgiven her try always to speak well of her, especially when she is not around. That way when you die ehr guardian angel will speak well of you on the day of your judgement.

Never thought of that
I’ve spoken nice of her but also vented some frustration in the form of jokes and seriousness about how I feel to friends who saw
When I have no choice but to talk to her sometimes I’ll a little rude in my head and it comes out in person(barely because no one notices so not too bad) because im scared of her and it’s hard being around her.
I’m not actually mean but I’m just like playing games and not siding with her and pointing whenever she goes against me in game

I could do better but I’m alright I guess
Didn’t think about her angel so I’ll really try to earn his respect more
I need every voice I can when God is asked to show Mercy to me
